My Design Process

Art and Science

The objective and subject human attempts to understand and describe the world around us.

To me, design is a process of strategically placing pieces of puzzles of Art and Science together.

Research

Find quantitative and qualitative research from primary and secondary resources to gain an in depth understanding of the proposed challenge.

Empathize

Be in the user’s point of view to best understand their pain points, and discover the root causes to their problems.

Define

Find clarity in the design challenge definitions, problem, and questions.

Ideate

Brainstorm to create ideas. From 100, down to 10, then 3, and end up with 1.

Prototype

Bring forth the best idea and create a prototype to best illustrate the solution.

Test

Apply design and test against the target user groups. Repeat the process again to iterate and improve the design.
